Card is – Middle row, 4th from left. The tiny Mistletoe bird eats the fruit of the parasitic Mistletoe, excreting the sticky seeds onto host tree brances where they germinate. In this way the bird and the plant depend upon each other. The bird has a beautiful call. Reproduced from an original collage in which the artist has combined her own work with paintings by her children who were both under seven.
